In 2022, i-exchange was engaged by Women’s Health NSW to prepare a Business Case for a 100% funding increase for presentation to the NSW Minister for Health.

The project required extensive research, consultation and collaborative work with the 20 independent Women’s Health Centre organisations across NSW. i-exchange facilitated workshops with Women’s Health CEOs and Senior Managers to develop the first ever full cost financial model for the sector, an analysis of social value and presentation of the evidence-base for the holistic service model.

Following review of the Business Case, the NSW Labor Party announced a doubling of funding for NSW Women’s Health Centres as a key part of their 2023 election platform. The real funding increase – the sector’s first since 1986 – was delivered in the 2023-24 NSW Budget.
